Objects that participate.

Lyssier makes objects for daily life. Not to be placed carefully and admired.

Two parts. One form.
The object

Two parts. One form.

The H64 is two flat elements. They slide crosswise into one another and find their position by hand, without tools, without force.

Wherever the object goes, it comes apart in seconds and rests flat: in a bag, in a drawer, on a shelf between uses. The design carries its own explanation.

Solid metal. No coating.
The material

Solid metal. No coating.

Stainless steel (1.4301) and brass (CuZn37) are working materials, not decorative alloys. Both have been used in architecture and precision engineering for decades, chosen for performance.

On the H64, they stay uncoated. No lacquer, no plating, nothing between you and the metal.

Stainless steel holds its surface unchanged. Brass takes on a patina that is entirely its own. Both are fully recyclable. A choice between two relationships with metal.

We decide deliberately.
Our values

We decide deliberately.

Sustainability begins with using less. The H64 is two solid metal parts that lock together without screws, glue or coatings. The form is cut from flat sheet, so little is lost in the making, and the finished object ships and stores flat.

We chose steel and brass because they endure. Metal ages, takes a polish, can be repaired, and stays in use across generations. If the day ever comes, it returns, fully, to the cycle.

// We take responsibility before it is required.

The founders

Constantin & Nikolaus.

Two brothers, one conviction. Most candleholders are made for decoration, not use. So we made it ourselves. The H64 is the first portable candleholder. Made to be used. Made to age.

Every detail of the H-Series has been thoroughly discussed, argued over, decided at the dinner table and made in the same facilities we know by name.
